Bug Blog by Cuco Rocha Casablanca Americans are expressing SHOCK that a man like El Chapo Guzman would have so much money and power that he could escape from prison twice. As they put in their drug orders.
This man filled a need, a need caused by demand,A demand caused by misery and a need to escape from said misery.Misery caused by ridiculous fiscal policies that only favor the wealthy and castigate the poor for not being wealthy like them.A weapon in the war on poverty, addicting, imprisoning, and ulitimately killing it’s myriad victims.Making money for both criminals and politicians (here’s a hint, they’re both the same). Shareholders in companies that feed the prison, police, and military industrial complex get even more obscenely rich. And in turn feed huge political contributions to conservatives who promise more war and imprisonment of minorites to their supporters. The only difference between “El Chapo” and the governments that call him a criminal is they have the power to write the rules.Think about how we are viewed by others in the world. Our protector is someone else’s ruthless killer. Our comfort and convenience come at a dear price to someone else, in another part of the world. The human toll on both sides is frightening, the sheer human misery caused by those nasty white powders is devastating.I’ve seen it up close and personal. It’s uglyAnd it needs to end..
As for the demand for drugs, how long will our government waste money trying to stop the marijuana trade? Makes you wonder if the people who run the federal prisons in this country are contributing millions to any politician who will keep stocking them with drug offenders. Also it would not surprise me is El Chapo is slipping those same politicians money to keep marijuana illegal. The money wasted on fighting grass would be much better spent on drug rehab and fighting the Heroin trade.
It is amazing how people can justify a man that routinely tortured and murdered thousands of his own people can be justified and glorified but then we have had many examples like Hitler, Stalin etc.

As they put in their drugs orders… amid calls for stepping up the War On Drugs.
Another gift that keeps on giving — like the invasion of Iraq.
