Question for John Lustig - these don’t match up with the ones I receive through the Yahoo group or the ones posted on http://www.lastkisscomics.com/weekly/index.php. Which are the most recent?
Hi,runar. This is the most recent version. And good for you for spotting the difference between this and the version in my archive.
I’m juggling a lot of projects and commitments right now. So–to keep up on my three-times a week schedule here at GoComics–I’m sometimes forced to dip into my older material and present it here.
To keep things fresh–and because I was insanely wordy in the old days–I sometimes rewrite gags before they show up here.
Whether I make them better or worse, I really can’t say.
I am remiss in saying that she is pining for him John. He’d be a sapling if he didn’t go for her. Is that a beech I see in the background? I think I’ll go now, and leaf well enough alone.

In other words, Runar, these are Last Kiss “variant strips”. Whether they are more valuable, rare, or sought-after among fans remains to be seen.
HEY! Wait a minute…! All of these strips are variants! He’s just changing the word balloons on old comics panels! I feel like such a fool…
