First Lay Lines by Carol Lay for January 26, 2015

I’m a big fan of Story Minute, Waylay, and a backer of Murderville, plus I own many of her collected works. I am thrilled to receive once more a recurring dosage of Carol Lay’s thoroughly brilliant imagination.

I have loved Carol Lay’s work since her self-published comic days. I have thrilled at her weekly Story Minutes. Her pacing and characterizations are great. I look forward to seeing her classic stories in color. Her images are timeless. Her comments on the human condition are always timely. Enjoy and discuss among yourselves.

Oh no! I have to add this one to my list; and I’ve being trying to reduce my list. I guess those dishes don’t need to be washed.

This is a genuinely bizarre and funny strip. I laughed out loud. If her other strips hold up to this one then Ms. Lay has a fan here. I want to see more.
