Just looked it up……“The proverb as it is recorded in Latin by Erasmus (Adagia 3.1.60) is: “vestis virum facit” meaning “clothes make the man.”
It does kinda have a Freddie Mercury vibe to it….

Ya know, it’s hilarious. Even liberal “women” say they would rather have a husband/boyfriend who is conservative or at least on the fence. Very few want the girlymen wieners.
