Ah yes, the pot-belly pig craze. I think that was about 20 years ago in our area. It began with ads in the paper: Pot Belly breeding stock, $2000 (and up)It ended several years later with ads: Free to good home, pot-belly pig!
And before that, Chincilla Ranches went the same route.
When I was young, I read in a collection of Li’l Abner strips that Hammus Alabammus is the best tasting of all pigs.
Pigs can be sweet, maybe I’m a hypocrite, but if it ever comes to having to kill my own meat, THEN I will become a vegetarian.
Do I hear Col. Bullmoose driving up?
