Dad wisely decides not to waste his money…

Dad doesn’t seem surprised at all.

Was the full jousting outfit included in that sale? And why the butterfly (etc.) net?

In any case, Dad is right to give up any idea of buying Lio more sporting goods. Lio is well equipped for an afternoon of fun already!

Anyone remember an old video game called “Joust”?

Atari Arcade, I believe. Anywaaay, Lio just needed to get something from his closet.

I think he is actually planning on trying to get a date with Eva. She can be quite adversarial to the idea.

The biggest milestone of my life was throwing that beer behind me, but despite all my woes, Dad has bigger problems than I ever had. If I was Dad, I’d join a cult too.

I think maybe Lio’s going to slay the princess and capture the dragon.

Lio’s sport looks way more fun than any of those normal sports listed on the ad!

Jousting and dragon catching are sports… just ask Prince Valiant! I’m sure there’s an episode out there somewhere…

Poor Dad, he’ll never get to enjoy a normal game of catch with his son. (Catch the dragon maybe…)
