Sometimes love hurts…

That kind of love got Lio “grounded”,

Like the face plant in the last panel though.

Eva Rose doesn’t deserve you, Lio.

Ah she is playing hard to get.

Lio certainly doesn’t deserve this, either!

Lio learns the hard way that rejection hurts. This time it was physical rejection.

Now I know what does “falling in love” mean!

Love hurts when it’s involve Lio and Eva.

You know, I really, REALLY don’t like Eva Rose.

At least Eva Rose didn’t use a flame thrower or a switchblade to rebuff Lio’s advances…hard to tell if that’s a new ‘softness’ towards Lio or…if simply her parents have locked her favorite weapons away out of her reach.

Lio is a glutton for punishment.

I was rejected by my grade school sweetheart. Now I sometimes stop at the greasy spoon she works at and ask about her 3 out of wedlock kids. She almost got her GED.

“Spy Vs. Spy” kinda love…….whack!….thump!..

One of Lio’s greatest moments was in the 2007-09-02 strip, where he got into bed with Eva and she snuggled him all night.

Not kidding; look it up!

@sherlockwatson- I looked up the strip where Lio snuggles with Eva- awesome! He should try that again with another one of her stuffed animals:)
