Joe, not to be argumentative, but I read once that the first year of a dog’s life is equal to 15 (or was it 20?) of a human’s life, then it’s 5 for the next 6, after that, I forget. Another time, I read 7 for the first 7, thereafter, 5.
But what difference does it make, the dogs don’t care. They have sense enough to live in the moment.
I usually say “coon’s age” anyway. And I bet they don’t care either. :-)
