I’m going to miss this strip SO much; I have two rescue hounds (and two turtles – not tortoises! ) and following the exploits of LDL and Torti has always been one of the bright points in my day. And the Sunday ones have some of the most beautiful artwork. When I see my own LDL-twin snuggled up safe on my sofa, knowing he will never again be shot or kicked or caged as he was in the past, I wish the same security and stability for LDL and Vernon. They’re such special creatures – I hope their soon-to-be new home/caregiver appreciates them!
It’s sad to hear that Little Dog Lost is ending at the end of the month.On the bright side it’s so nice to know that soon he will have a nice home where he will be loved and cared for.I have only been reading this strip for the last year and like everybody here I love Little Dog Lost and Torti(Vernon) I’ve grudgingly taken a liking to grim old Buzz the vulture and his sidekick.However gocomics.com will most likely begin the strip all over again from the very first Little Dog Lost and I will be able to catch up on his adventures I have missed out on for so long.
