When my nephews were 4 and 5 years old, they could take care of yours, and everyone else’s presents in less the 2 minutes. The following year, I went to the Dollar Tree and bought a ton of junk and wrapped it up; it was all about the carnage of unwrapping that brought them joy.
This was my mom in the 1950’s. She grew up in the depression and reused as much as she could. She would iron used wrapping paper and ribbon, and would clean, fold and reuse aluminum wrap.
