Having once been an avid four-leaf clover hunter, I can say that the right type of clover yields many. I think it was feed clover.

Growing up, we had about five acres of lawn. Mowing was quite an ordeal. There was one patch that often yielded four-leaf clovers. It seemed like there wouldn’t be any till after the first mowing.

The clover is unique. It’s asymmetrical. It looks like its waving.

My better half used to find the odd 4 leaf clover in the back lawn. I never had the patience to go looking for them.

I went to high school with a guy named Harold who was a genius at finding them. I saw him do it a bunch of times. It was almost like he palmed one and carried it with him everywhere he went.

A four-leaf clover is not a good choice for the “He loves me” game.

Once I found “four-leaf clover” but it turned out to be not a clover…
