Sammy: So. Monty. Do we go trick or treating this year?
Monty: dont know sammy,
Sammy: would we look silly doing it as sixth graders?
Monty: I know Ive got no pride,
Sammy: me neither!
My 9th and 11th graders still want to go. I’d rather just buy the candy but I do have a 5th grader who’s going so I guess it’s up to the givers. ,
I’ll give my two cents since everyone else did. Halloween is a tradition, it’s not political. People who pass out treats really get into it and decorate and scare children. And my children would never demand or threaten and neither would many others.
