Lola; Amys threatening to make a tofurkey thsi year!
Ray: Well, I for one fully support her decision,
Lola; Shes not here right now.
RAY: This is a family crisis!
Why can’t you have both? A tofurkey for Amy and whomever wants to partake, and a regular turkey for the meat-eaters. Just as Amy has the right to tofu, so do the others to make their own dietary choices.
Actually, the Tofurkey’s they sell around the holidays aren’t bad. Not as good as Turkey or Ham of course, but they have a lovely stuffing inside them and a delicious gravy to heat up with it. The stuffing and gravy are something meat eaters would eat I think. There is no meat in them or meat broths but they are made with veggies, and the base of the gravy is vegetable juices instead of meat juices.
