I suppose you’ve discovered by now that Hangouts is a Google app …it’s for texting back and forth, but doesn’t use your text allowance… and works whether or not you have SMS texting on your device. Actually there’s a desktop version, too, or you can just connect to it using the chat feature in Gmail, so you don’t need a smartphone or tablet to use it.
I’m hoping that’s what you mean…though I can’t rule out not that my attempt at a couple of puns was so lame it flew right over too.
