So, I have a lot of Nixon books, but I recently learned that his drinking was already out of control early in his administration. He wanted to drop a nuke on North Korea

Nixon is certainly one of the many presidents we would like to forget! Why this ’ cartoon’?

    Well done, Dan.

In 1968 we had a mock election at my college. Nixon won handily promising to get us out of Vietnam. He stretched that promise to re-election in 1972, in time for him to be my commander-in-chief. I thought then when Watergate came we’d never have a worse president. I’ve been wrong before. Not often. Nothing serious. Then came 2016. Nixon has moved up the ladder from being the worst.

Never thought Nixon would be such a happy memory. He resigned to save country (and himself) from impeachment trauma, but that was when Congress did its job rather than pander. He also formed the EPA and pursued (believe it or not) national health care.

Well, yes, but Trumpo the Magnificent runs circles around RMN when it comes to untruth in all its many-splendored glory.

For all his transgressions, at least Tricky Dick wasn’t in bed with the religious Reich (abortion, teaching creationism in public schools, etc). That started with Reagan.

Then Carter showed up to really screw the country over. Then when the Clintons showed up…they made Nixon small time as a crook. Clinton Mafia. Then ol Joey the Dementia fool showed up and says" Hold my Beer Jimmy. Let me show you how to screw the country up". Sheesh Democrats screw up everything they touch.
