It's mother's day morning-let's look in on a typical American family... Dad: Listen to this, honey: "Americans spend eight billion each year on kitchen remod." Luann: Mom, can I go to Bernice's? Mom: Not until you clean your room. Dad: "Expect a return on your investment if-" Brad: Where are all my shirts, mom? Mom: Check the dryer. Dad: "....reduce steps by creating a workspace which...." Luann: do I have to change my sheets? Mom: Yes. Dad: "countertops, cabinets, track lighting..." Brad: They're still wet! Mom: So turn on the dryer, Brad. Dad: "Into existing electrical sources." Luann: Mom! Where's the vacuum? Mom: Look in the family room, Luann! Dad: "colorful enamal tiles with adhesive backing". Dad: "mauve, seafoam and imitation chrome....." Luann: It's not in the family room. Mom: Well, it's somewhere in this house, Luann. Just look!! Dad: Hey-are you listening to this? Mom: You have a full one third of my attention... Brad: is this dry? Luann: Mom! Where are the vacuum bags! Happy mother's day!

I had a day like that. My parents came over to my house with my niece. My mom was on my computer showing me a family tree. Dad was talking to me and my niece wanted to play with the toy mice of mousetrap. All of them talking to me and no one realized that till I told them that. "I have three people talking to me right now. ;)
