Luann by Greg Evans and Karen Evans for June 07, 1998
Transcript:
Luann: Wow...ancient history. Luann: mom, we gotta go to the mall. My summer wardrobe is seriously '96. I need a swimsuit, some shorts, tops, sun dressed, sandals dad: Is that what you're wearing to your job? Luann: job? Dad: Yes. The summer job you got so you can buy all these new clothes. Luann: Don't parents have a legal obligation to feed, shelter and clothe their kids? Brad: yeah. But only the minimum for survival: Rice, a mud hut and a fig leaf. Luann: Oh, so I'm supposed to survive without a cute summer dress? Brad: hey, look at me! Mom hasn't gone shopping and I gotta survive on these icky low fat cookies!
