Knute and Crystal walk down a school hallway. Knute asks, "Isn't it a drag to go around all dark and sad?" Crystal replies, "Life isn't just joy and jollies, y'know. There's light in darkness. There's beauty in sadness." Knute says, "And there's thorns on a rose. But why toss the rose and grab the thorns?" Crystal replies, "The pain of the thorns enhances the fragrance of the rose." Knute says, "Yeah, well you're a thorn and you're a pain." Crystal responds, "And you're a rose and you reek."
