At least Shannon knows “mushy” when she sees it, soooo she probably understands a lot more than people think she does. Where did she see mushy behavior and learn its meaning?

To those of you looking forward to “mushy stuff”; Brad and Toni kiss like a couple of movie stars from the 1940’s. Mouths obviously closed; Toni’s arm is always between their bodies. It’s all I can do not to fall asleep watching.

Agreed with Bill, very Toni-centric. I see a fall coming. As much as I like Luann and read it daily, it’s becoming Funky Winkerbeanized. Becoming a soap opera. Something’s going to go wrong. And figure Quill has to leave at some point, then Luann’s on her own again, who’s left, mini me Elvis? Surely not Gunther. Remember when “comics” were funny? The only one that could keep a foot in reality and still generate laughs was Calvin. But I’ll keep reading none the less.

Throw shannon under the bus.

Maybe I am the one with a dirty mind but I swear I remember a strip many months ago where TJ comes back to the house and Brad and Toni are coming into the living room from the back of the house, and looking a bit flustered at finding TJ there. I think some serious mushy stuff may already be happening.

As someone noted yesterday, many people get by drifting from one job to another, sponging on relatives, etc.It seems to me that Toni and Brad’s relationship has matured considerably since the last arc that focused on them. Whether that is also physical is not really anyone else’s business. We certainly won’t see it explicitly.

Mr. Evans, I love this comic strip, but I’m getting tired! Could you please AT LEAST get them engaged with some view of a marriage in teh future???

She’d order them around, poor things! And normally I have a Get Fuzzy’s mr katt view towards those creatures, minus the eating part.

Toni said “he can’t commit to a job”, not “he can’t get a job”, and when Brad said “have he ever had a job”, I think they were talking about maintaining a career, or at least stay in same job at least 2 or 3 months, and as I wrote 2 days ago, I think he gets jobs easily, but doe s not stay with them long, I have know at least 2 or 3 people that are like that. I think if he commits to it, he could be a good salesman, most probably used cars ;)

Do you think that Toni & Brad have know each other in the ,ahem, biblical sense?

good memory tex tech — i remember that one also. i think brad and toni know each other very well, but this is not the kind of strip that would make it obvious.

Love Toni’s ability to focus

Toni and Brad both work in the Fire Department in different precincts. And they’ve slept together already.

Toni has never been able to keep her hands off Brad. Lucky guy.

Toni grabbing that necktie has a very possessive implication IMO.

Toni spent such a long time slowing Brad down and keeping him chaste that when she finally has him how she wants him, that’s when she decides to tell him that she loves him. But Brad never picked up speed again. It’s as if all he wanted was for Toni to be his. That satisfied his hunger – and he hasn’t been hungry since.

I absolutely LOVE this strip!

Toni should have seen how Brad handled Shannon in the last few strips like a loving father. That should ring a bell that hes a good catch…..

Toni needs a bob — too much hair for a fire fighter I’m thinkin’Besides, I’d like to see her in a new do.
