I’m getting the distinct impression that Mr. Fogarty hates his job!

Is Knute out of the closet? Or just a nut…….
BenderSastre about 12 years ago
A dragon. I sleep when I want, where I want. I’m equipped with my very own personal flame broiler, and foil-wrapped piece of meat come to me on a somewhat regular basis. The horses they ride in on are also passible sustenance. And yes, virgens taste better than those who are not.

Hey, Mr. Fogarty! If you taught at college instead of HS, you’d get the same answers. But, you’d still have a parking space. One day, you’ll be away from all this and they’ll come visit you in the nursing home! Life is short. So busy, being busy, you don’t live enough. Don’ die with regrets!

Pampered house cat.

3 of those are by definition not animals.
Sisyphos about 12 years ago
Hmm. That question is too hard for me. Does “human” count?
Mighty_Mouse about 12 years ago
Cheetah Girl! Cool.I would love to see an extended arc exclusively featuring Crystal. Unless we only see her as per 1537.
wndrwrthg about 12 years ago
Gosh, I don’t know. Perhaps one that is indigenous to Africa, something of a porcine nature.

I once answered this question with: I AM an Animal. I am not a rock. I am not a Plant. I can move and that makes me an Animal.
Granted I was 7 or 8, but I still think it’s a stupid question.
Tinyman about 12 years ago
I would have liked to be a Brontasaurus. I know there is a new name for that but I forgot what it is. I always liked Dinosaurs.

Hey- Luann is a lefty! Anyone else notice that?
WyattMute about 12 years ago
Mmm… Milla Jovovich…
Knute might have kept that one to himself, but he’s got the right idea in a class-clown sort of way.
Chris Kenworthy about 12 years ago
Hmm… possibly a dolphin, still pretty smart, getting lots of exercise in the sea – except there’s pollution to worry about and humans catching all the fish. :( Maybe being a dolphin in an oceanarium would be fun.
The Old Wolf about 12 years ago
… If he doesn’t want to be sitting there, he shouldn’t be teaching. Let him find a job as a greeter at WalMart, he’d be doing our kids a lot more good.

“but they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk, and not faint.”.Ah, the promise of strength, endurance, freedom, and vision. My avatar seems to have it all.

They all should have answered as the teacher did, and added “listening to you”.
tcreole about 12 years ago
So Knute wishes he was a woman. Interesting.
As for me, I don’t think you could get a better deal than to be a pet cat. Food and shelter provided, company only when you want it, no responsibilities… sign me up!
Thehag about 12 years ago
I have always found this question stupid.Attitude questionares are so generalized, they aren’t accurate enough. The question does not ask you to explain your choice so when you do add why you chose this or that creature you are giving extra information. The questioner makes judgments not so much on your answer as how you answer.
Tuzilla about 12 years ago
I did this exercise years ago and chose a wolf

I’d like to be a white bengal tiger.
rkozakand about 12 years ago
At Tue Elung-Jensen, They are, in fact ALL animals, seing that an animal is any living organism which is not a plant, fungus, microbe or bacterium. So animal does, in fact, include Birds, insects, and Humans

A Tick or a Whale?
jrowell about 12 years ago
Hey, Luann is left-handed. Cool!
underwriter about 12 years ago
Not sure if the question reflects “what would you rather be?” or “what animal’s existence looks most like yours?” I’d rather be a house cat, but I feel more like an overworked sheep dog.
Hunter7 about 12 years ago
Artic wolf, tiger, or pampered cat – not necessarily domestic. (there are a number of the wild ones that are domestic in size)
9thCapricorn about 12 years ago
Werewolf! Can take a human form and live as one but yet live forever! I’d be like Blade – find an alternative way to feed.

What would a book worm get out of War and Peace?
Angelalex242 about 12 years ago
A wolf. All the advantages of a dog, none of the drawbacks of being tamed by man. Also, the get to live in packs.
hippogriff about 12 years ago
Tinyman: Aptasaurus..Cinquefoil: Anyone citing a Wiki-anything as an authority is in trouble. I am a duly ordained minister and went on fossil hunting trips with my clergy father when still horizontal. He had three Upper Cretaceous discoveries. Setting up a straw man to fight is a sign of weakness. Before a century and a half ago, most scientific discoveries were made by clergy (and most of the remainder by doctors or the idle rich)..I guess my choice is obvious – the critter that took Rogero all over the world to gain information, and is still trying to provide information.

interesting to see the different handwriting of the characters. it seems based on a graphological research. Mr. Fogarty and Bernice are the only two to write in cursive. This is a bit sad.
