Heh. I always did that whenever my church would go picking strawberries on the church farm (hey, somebody has to make sure that they’re exactly the right degree of ripeness!). ;-)

BLOOPER ALERT!

Yesterday Delta addressed him as captain. However, both yesterday and today his collar insignia is a single bar (which is for lieutenant).

The insignia for the rank of captain is a double bar (the slang term in the military is railroad tracks).

Typical-everyone else does the work while she stands around and takes the credit.

Many seniors can’t eat candy or chocolate.

Yep. Now we’ve seen pretty much the whole regular teen cast, except for Crystal. But I’m pretty sure Knute wouldn’t be there if Crystal weren’t also around.On another score, Delta’s goal of 200 baskets is somewhat less than the 240 I estimated yesterday, but leaves an uncomfortable asymmetry of baskets with four eggs and baskets with five eggs (any wider divergence being, I believe, out of the question). —Unless, of course, we allow for “stock shrinkage” of eggs, with Knute and maybe even Oxford (he’s a growing boy and might get hungry!) gobbling up some few and others being defective (cracked)….

HELP! Can anyone point me to the video where the guy is stamping parking tickets and the chorus is “Smile, Smile, Smile”. That was really uplifting, I need an uplift today. 8(

I agree with Oldcomicsfan. They should use something other than candy in the baskets.

Looks to me like the captain is impressed with Delta. Is it possible for Delta to have some like her or just maybe she be interested in someone at all? Hmm!! Just a thought. Oh no, not Delta not possible. Hmm!!

It’s just Knute being Knute. I noticed Delta standing around talking while the others are working, too. She really DOES have a future in politics.

Then send Mr. “Quality Checker” out to replace the ones he ate out of his own pocket.

Knute and Krystal are gonna get married and make a LOT of kids. Tiff is gonna be a professional pole dancer. Delta is gonna be a senator , raise taxes, cut the military, and wonder where the Apollo 11 astronauts put the flag on Mars. Luann? Luann is gonna be an old Cat Lady. And Gunther is going to be a Franciscan Monk, later Cardinal of his Diocese. EOF

I’m a little disturbed by all the “can’t give candy to old people” folks on here. They’re old not dead and they are not two year olds they still have the ability to choose if they will eat candy or not. Even if they have diabetes they are in control of their own disease and it is not for you to declare what they can and can’t eat.

peeps do not need to be quality checked. They are always inedible.however it is fun to light them on fire, dissolve them in alcohol or attach them to bottle rockets.I do not know anyone who actually eats them tho.

The elderly folks will grin and say “Thanks for the Basket adn here is $17 Trillion in Federal Debt that your generation can never hope to pay off.” Say hello to your soon to be Chinese overlords for me.

An unwrapped peep in a basket has a very short life before it turns to stone.

I can’t believe my drawing was pulled again, it was just a pic of Delta, carrying a tray of “Easter eggs”, decorated to look like her friends GEEEZZZ

I learned about the “nibble factor” in Cost Accounting class. They told a story about a candy manufacturer who hired an investigator to work on the assembly line to find out who was stealing the expensive ingredients because the discrepancy between input and output was so big. Investigator didn’t notice anybody smuggling out ingredients, but then realized she and everyone else on the assembly line were gaining weight because they were nibbling so much. Delta needs to factor nibbling into the candy purchases.

Is ox just there to carry heavy boxes around?

Please try for a third. I haven’t seen it. Might be Gregg having sway. The other comics people don’t seem to have a problem with fan drawings.^^I’m pretty sure the problem isn’t with Greg, I think it’s the mod for this page. Greg and Karen have posted several of my drawings on their FB page; so, I think I have their approval (Which I consider a HUGE honour!).
