If a tree falls down and no one’s around to hear it, does it make a sound? xD

Small problem with that, Clare’s not a slave, she’s just lazy.

Some people DO work better like that. Big pictures on the wall, big statues in the streets…remember Saddam? and Stalin? BIG statues.

Cut Clare loose, don’t give her any spending money, she’ll get a job at the chips’n’melted cheeseri down the street and work BETTER when it isn’t for Daddy…

I know you’ve said that quite a few times now, Night-G, that Clare’s being “forced” to work there by her dad. I can’t see Clare’s dad forcing anyone to do anything; he’s kinda a pushover. From my take on it, it’s more like Dad is too dense to realize that Clare doesn’t care for her job. Actually, Clare would probably do the same thing at any job, not just acting out/rebelling (and would be fired anywhere else for it). Maybe Dad is dense, or maybe he even realizes that he needs to keep Clare on because she would be fired anyplace else. Also, perhaps Clare pushes her limits, but just falls short of telling Dad flat-out that she doesn’t want to work there because she knows it would break his heart (he seems passionate about Lucky Cow). The point I’m getting at – it’s way to easy to assume. There are a more possible motives behind Clare’s actions than her being forced to work there and attempting to get fired.
