“Extra Hard Edition,” math lessons are the epitome of learning. You start out, one, two, three; then 1 + 2 = 3; then X + 2 = 3; then they introduce 2 raised to the power of 3; and you proceed to calculus, or get sidetracked by statistics. All learning is progressive. We don’t jump from Legos to building rocket ships to Mars without learning (many) intervening steps … and the Lego Millennium Falcon set doesn’t count ‘cause it don’t fly, dang it!
