Tried that with both my dogs and my sisters cats., Dogs didn’t like it and the cats scratched me good…. forgot the beagle bit the head off of toothbrush…
My cattle dog cross doesn’t mind it as after the brushing, I give her a dental treat. My hubby’s Dachshund on the other hand, has to be turned onto his back and held between us on the couch for me to brush his teeth. He absolutely hates it.

No he’s not buying it. Pretty sure he’s not fooled by the old pill rolled up in the piece of cheese trick too.

Hide dog pills in potted meat. Even if they find the pill, they generally will swallow it because of the potted meat taste.
