Yes, L.A. Rose is a pseudonym for illustrators, Justin Raines, Jackie Gentile, and Tony Calabro. Jackie recently had to leave us to devote more time to her full-time job. Justin and Tony work for very little money and alternate the assignments. I’m very grateful to them. @Cessna, the last panel may look different to you because it is featuring rarely seen profile shots. The strip’s characters are mostly and purposely drawn in a 3/4 view. I don’t believe we’ve ever featured a front view of any of the characters.
JWF: I only get back here sporadically and I still appreciate that you folks are here and I compliment your “staff” on sticking by this lovely little celebration of disparity. I sincerely hope these kind of expressions “take off” in a way that enables more monetary sup[port for them.
On the strip: Funny how all those little crabbing moments get washed out when some legit concern shows up.
This is truly a very entertaining strip. Please don’t kill off Annie, she is a great cast addition to this very witty & funny strip. Keep up the good work

And if I’m not mistaken, L.A. Rose is more than one person. Right?

It’s funny how life events can show us what’s really important and what our energies should really be focused on.
