This is what ruined the wild west. Once a gun wasn’t a guarantee of un-opposable power, its usefulness as a tool of oppression and control was somewhat diminished.

In my neighborhood not only do we need a CCW but a body cam to prove that we had to use it.

Some strong whine in a couple of these comments.

It’s not gun control I’m worried about, it’s anger control of the person carrying the gun that concerns me.

When the restrictions against buying and selling are such that you are not allowed to buy because you aren’t allowed to own (see New York, esp. the city), the concern is not idiotic. It’s not just about ‘taking away’ already owned guns, though the con control advocates want that, but stopping people from buying \ owning in the first place as well. And by using the usual left-wing name calling tactic of personal insults, the poor quality of your argument is just made even clearer.

Just what we need, running gun battles in the streets. If these cartoon characters were armed and real, a lot of bystanders would be mowed down.
