When I was offered a salaried position for my last job, I declined it and instead insisted being paid hourly. I wanted the option of unpaid time off. My job was as a Data Analyst working remotely.
I was good enough at my job NOT to need to work a full 40 hours to get it done. My boss was on board with this. So I wound up working Four 9-hour days, Mon-Thu. I told the company I was giving them a 10% discount on my salary.
In reality I worked when work needed to be done and was off the clock during slack times. So, I worked when data became available and reports were due. I logged in at 6:30 AM to get a whole bunch of reports out by 8:30 AM and finally “punched out” at 8 PM. I took several breaks in the middle of the day especially in the summer to work out in my pool.
Then I got a new boss who wanted me in the office Mon-Fri, full time. I was not going into the office at 6:30 AM and staying until 8 PM and they did not have a pool, so I retired.

They already support that for themselves. The Do Nothing House has given themselves a few weeks off in Cancun with Ted.

Promise something you can’t deliver. Usually works on some suckers. Consider the promise to make Mexico pay for a border wall.

Actually she should vote for the guy who actually works at least 2 days a week . . . If she can find one.

That’ll be an increase for the congressman.

10 hours a day x 4 days = 40 hours. Any less hours, and you’ll face a pay cut.
