It will be the plague of walking and texting and falling off the curb.

I always find it hilarious in old 1980’s movie when some one takes out one of those gigantic cell phones to use, even in serious movies. It totally kills any tension or drama they intended. Also love the old Planet of the Apes ad.

One of the most dark moments in human history and very few people even know it happened, shame on you.

My grandfather was a mortician. He always bought at least one coffin from every salesman who came through our little town. So when the Flu Pandemic of 1918 happened, morticians were having a hard time getting enough coffins. But my grandfather always had as many as he needed from one company especially because he had been such a good customer all those years before. The name of that coffin company? “Ketchum & Killem”… ! True story!

Before the American Civil War I, corpses were rarely embalmed. When so many deaths were happening they did start doing so and it was the basis for how the current funerary profession operates.

That kind of history telling is unBearable. Good drawing in that last panel. Bear’s face is awesome.

It’s weird how this comic strip was able to be posted so close to the actual pandemic. Just 8 months from the start
