It has been so long since seeing Lil’ Abner, I have forgotten about the characters except for the smoo’s (spelling?) and never figured out why they were a part of the strip. Very strange.
My brother had some Fearless Fosdick books as a kid. It was to Dick Tracy what Itchy and Scratch is to Mickey Mouse. Just over the top goofy violence. I’d buy it on Kindle if it was available.

Never really gotten into Lil’ Abner, but that’s some ruling mimicking there!

What, no one hoping you’ll get sued for copywrite infringement yet? Nice nod to Lil Abner.

Bear would love to cuddle with one of them, and not Abner.

I like Mr. Scotts Little Abner face better than the original.

I’ve never heard of Fearless Fosdick, but I recognize L’il Abner.

Is this a rerun? I know it’s copyrighted 2021, but I saw it first in the 2016 “Molly and the Bear” collection.
