Love the ’60s-style dialogue between the two (who already are swingers, Number Six, by context at least)!

“In the end, things got weird…” “In the end”, Monty?? I think they were weird right from the start!

Oh, Monty, that’s just SO pathetic – your own imaginary friend using the old, “It’s not you, it’s me” brush-off.

Guess Monty should be glad he had a weasel as an imaginary friend. If it had been a wolverine, this break up could have been very messy.

I never had “imaginary friends” but I had a world populated by imaginary people- I only posessed 2 dolls and 2 stuffed animals in my entire childhood and they were aquired over many years- the rest of the “people” were pretty colored marbles and I made buildings and cities of blocks, because I have a rich imagination. The dolls were “adult” as they did in the 30-40s – a composite thing with a single joint at shoulder and hip (arm and leg) and as flat chested as any child. I messed up the first one by trying to add “makeup” with nail polish (melts that material) so she became the elderly queen;) and the new doll I got (3 or 4 years later) was the princess. My mother made herself many splendid gowns and some leftover fabrics went to my dolls (and some even fit tightly enough to be strapless formals). The animals were a typical panda (fat- so he was the king) and a floppy little rabbit who was the prince. Imagination is the best toy for any child!
