ELMO!!!! Now the dirty truth emerges about how things really go down on Sesame Street!Or must I blame this on Fleshy?I hope Snuffy never reads this!

Sisyphos — for his first few years, none of the other characters except Big Bird could see Snuffleupagus or believed he existed.

I think that’s why Elmo has that reaction.

But Fleshy forgets that by the time Elmo joined the cast, Snuffy was quite visible.

It’s hard for a cat to keep it all straight.

BTW I wanted to thank you for pointing out Dr. Tunklein’s name yesterday.

I never would have noticed — and it has to be on purpose. That’s so funny!

I’m a little too old and out of the loop for

BoldlyUma — I assure you, I was NOT a child when Sesame Street started up, but I watched it.

Oooh — did I just admit that in public?

OK, so I had a crush on Grover. Don’t tell.

And Night-Gaunt — it’s true that Fleshy’s little Elmo hasn’t had all the experiences of the REAL Elmo — but Snuffy’s not there, so he couldn’t see him.

He just reacts to the mention of Snuffy with disdain.Note it’s not Flashy’s reaction — it’s Elmo’s.
