Boy: This walk among autumn woods, combined with the rich, warm hues of dusk, have placed me in a poetic frame of mind... Butler: Indeed, sir. Boy: Perhaps, I shall pause while so inspired and jot down a brief composition, simply titled: "ode to the family estate"... Butler: ery good, sir! Boy: Jarvis, help me here - what rhymes with "irc 1031 exchange"? Butler: I believe we may need to consult "Aunt Nellie's Rhyming Dictionary" upon our return.

Sedgie! Watch your grammar! That should be “has,” not “have,” in panel 1. Now, about that rhyme line….

Sisyphos, good call. If he had used the word “and” instead of “combined with”, it would be correct. As it is phrased in the first panel, “walk” is the singular subject, therefore it deserves the singular “has”.

um…. the proper rhyme is “strange”.
I would like, some day,
To make an IRC1031 exchange….
Though I know some will say,
Deciding that at seven is a bit strange.
