Robots sweat?

EB! They can’t be hot swapped! You should remember that from your basic….oh….right….

Of all the things I’ve lost, my memory card I miss most…I think…what were we talking about? Nevermind.

It’s pink, awwww!

Does this mean Monty will now learn of E.B.’s fling with the vacuum cleaner? Does E.B. have a doctor or is the Professor filling that rôle?

Hey, if he doesn’t have his memory card then he wouldn’t know that is his memory card!

What are the chances of Robotman coming back to help out this situation?

This strip was originally titled “Robotman”, so it’s good to see Jim Meddick getting back to his original theme

Nop memory card = no being able to speak. The logic does not compute. And why should a robot sweat and cough? I dislike personifying inanimate objects.

To this day I feel guilty if I miss scooping out a grain of rice because it gave its all to be part of my dinner and shouldn’t get washed away.

I also wish animals weren’t personified in children’s stories. My favourite book for my children was “Otter Swims”. A story about a baby otter doing otter stuff.

I’ll get off my soapbox now.

BTW I have the same sort of neuroses, when it comes to stuff like automatically apologising to things I drop or step on, etc.

But if you DO it, why do you hate it?

T.C. Idiot — Bite your tongue! How can you say that about EB??? Sniffle….he’s one of my favorite characters!

Probably no one will see this cos it’s well after 9pm on the East Coast…. but people keep asking…

United Features hired Jum Meddick to draw a cartoon about a character called Robotman, which they already owned.

The cute, cuddly robot been commissioned for a not too successful children’s TV show and merchandise.

Meddick made everything more adult and edgy, and added Monty.

Eventually he and the syndicate contracted to spin off Monty, and send Robotman off into the stars…..where he lives today, happily ever after.

Meddick can’t bring him back…. but he invented EB.

Good.
