Does this mean Master Sedgewick will not get to start a 501 c 4 because he is a conservative?

Jarvis! Shame, shame … Remaining relaxed and reading while in the presence of your master is NOT acceptable behavior for a butler. On your knees to beg forgiveness!

What’s with the books bundled together with a … ??? I’ve never seen that in real life, not even in the 60s and early 70s, before backpacks became book bags. I would think Sedgwick would have one of those book bags that look like a rolling carry-on— of the highest quality Italian leather, of course.

Lisa, had one of those in the early 60’s…kind of a budgie cord with two “S” hooks, held all your goods together!! …..also, I was expecting a “kick me” sign… “Audit me” way better!!!

I suspect that out of the corner of his well-trained eye, Jarvis may have seen Nigel’s prank on Young Master’s back. Surely the “friendly pat on the back” line must have set off alarm bells in an experienced mind? I look forward to more of Nigel vs. Sedgie in days to come!

More realistic if the character names were Kennedy, Kerry, etc. The myth perpetuated by Meddick is that the rich are arch conservative when in fact some of the country’s leading liberals are filthy stinking rich like Sedgewick.

In the 50s zipper binders were popular to carry one’s notebooks, pencils, etc. A few text books would also fit inside. They had a short-lived revival in (I think) the 90s or new millennium. In fact I used one for a course I took at night school.
