Some of those “wacky adventures” belong on a “Wheel of Misfortune.”
NOT “get a haircut,” though… as a hairstylist, I want you all to get haircuts….c’mon, getting a haircut is fun fun fun.

I never read yesterday’s forum till a few minutes ago….
But just in case the same people come back…..in re: losing posts, copying, etc….
I always suggest that BEFORE YOU POST, for every comment, you…
Hit control A, then Control C (highlight all and copy) OR right-click and choose “select all” then “Copy”….
THEN hit “Submit.”
Try to make it a habit…. before long it’s almost automatic.
Then you’ll always have a temporary copy… including any formatting like italics or paragraph breaks…
If you need it, just click in the comment box and type Control V, or right-click and “paste”… edit and re-post… then delete the first one.
If you don’t need it, the next thing you copy will overwrite it anyway.
It’s easier than trying to highlight and copy something already posted, and you won’t have to type in any <br> ’s or other markup again after you paste it.
If you forgot to do it, and see a mistake…. and you haven’t clicked anywhere else… you can click again in the comment box and hit Control Z a couple of times, and usually but not always that will also recover your comment.
Of course, once you navigate away or close and re-open the page, it’s too late, and all you can do is copy the posted comment.

Arrgh! What rotten luck (typical for Monty)! Death before taxes! There can be no task more loathsome and foul, degrading and desensitizing, than doing one’s taxes!

I did mine last weekend. So much snow and ice I couldn’t go anywhere.

Doing taxes are a little like getting a haircut. A snip-snip here and a snip-snip there and when you’re done, you only have half left of what you started with.

Thanks for the suggestions, Susan! And if I had anyone reliable here, I’d LOVE to have my hair cut. I just do the best I can myself (I used to have a proper set-up to do my kids and my ex).
