If he can play classical music with his hands like that, he must be REALLY good! The left hand goes above the right for the recorder. And his left hand isn’t even near the holes.
Some talents are not wanted or used. I believe I had the chance to become quite good at chess only it takes constant study and living it for life. I declined and it remains a might-have-been at best.

Regardless of the piece, he played it well enough to draw a nice compliment. Does little rich squirt have a talent after all?

It must sound good: the musical notes aren’t all crumpled-looking which they’d have to be according to comics convention if it were crap.
Of course, I expect technological assistance of some kind. He can’t be actually good at something, can he?

“Das himmlische Leben", presents a child’s vision of heaven and is sung by a soprano.

I had to fire that Mahler piece up. I’m undecided. It’s jaunty. I’m still not sure what the singer’s going on about.

I still have the recorder that I played in 2nd grade. I’ve had it for 67 years. Occasionally I still play it.

Assuming the last panel is the punchline, I’m not getting why it’s funny?

Jarvis’ look in the last panel-I don’t think he’s all that thrilled. And, maybe he knows he’ll be drafted for the vocals.
