My friend’s 15 year old daughter just got her learner’s permit which has restrictions. A used car is in her future and I am the resident car expert, crossing my fingers. She said she wants a Toyota. Me: That’s half the battle, Toyota and Honda hands down are the most reliable in most circumstances. I put 305,000 miles on my Tacoma before I traded it in for a car and my SIL’s Honda Fit has 250,000. Both vehicles were well maintained.

And she’s still collecting speeding tickets like they’re some special coupon or something.
