A variation of an old joke: “I finally found Miss Right, but she’s looking for Mister Right.”

That put the wind out of Jeff’s sail I bet.

My old man used to say women were like streetcars, there’s another one coming along in five minutes.

Same here.

I was lucky and married the ideal woman, but eight years later she found the ideal man. I then found a less than ideal woman who stayed with me for 35 years. Sorta glad I lowered my standards. She’s French and I’m Indian, so we re-enact the French and Indian Wars every day.

You can never find all you want in a woman in one woman.(And I suppose the converse holds too)

Count me among the more fortunate. I met the ideal woman and she married me.
