I love the giant question mark above Mutt’s head.

Never knew Jeff had a sister?

Some of them will never change and limit their reading to McGuffey Readers.

The Bible says there will come a time when evil will be called good, and good called evil.

Anyone else receive the e-mail about states legalizing gay marriage and same-sex marriage? It says that this gives new meaning to Leviticus:That if a man (marries) another man, both must be stoned.

I wonder how folks like sammysock know coat hanger abortions were rare. As I recall abortion butchers did a fairly good business. Making abortion illegal will only give that business back to the criminal element. The well to do will still have safe, sanitary access behind closed doors. I know this from experience. As for slavery being abolished, segregation was still practiced openly till the late ’60’s. And how does one know what most women want. Most working Mom’s can’t afford to stay at home. It isn’t about wanting more stuff, it’s about paying the bills and keeping a roof overhead.

Agreed – A neighbor’s wife went to work in the city to afford to have a new kitchen in the house and a few other luxuries. (1960s)Now they go to work to pay utilities.(Didn’t think the Gas, Electric, Cable companies wouldn’t notice a new source of income?)

And by time they pay for gas to get to work, child care, etc – some of them actually (after taxes) are paying for the right to work! (At least they get out of the house for awhile)

Quite mean-spirited trick on Mutt’s casual use of “anybody”, taking it out of its informal, relaxed context but maybe Mutt deserved it?
