Just remembered that today is Super Tuesday! Texas has 155 delegates and I feel that it is very important that I vote today. I know who I’m voting for, and I hope Texas can swing the Republican primaries into a sensible direction! And then there’s the local elections. We have 8 judges’ positions to fill, as well as District Attorney, Sheriff, Tax Assessor, and County Commissioner. Plus we have our State Rep and several others running unopposed. I took hours yesterday researching all the candidates. On top of that, we have four propositions to vote on. Whew!

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Rita, that’s exactly why CA changed their primary date from June to March. They felt they were left out of the decision making process. Personally, I’m glad to be out of it. Already voted, finished and done until November. Good thing we have a DVR and I don’t have to watch the political ads. Is there ever a time anymore when we don’t have political ads?

By the way, our Governor, Brian Sandoval (Republican) is being vetted as a Supreme Court nominee. He was appointed as a federal judge by George W, and served there for 4 years before running for governor. He’s a bit too liberal for my taste, but it is suspected that he’s being put forward to shame McConnell into considering him for the SCOTUS.

It’s 70 degrees outside, and heading for 80. It would be a good day to open up and air out, but I will be gone all day. Oh, well. Maybe tomorrow.
