Today was my last day driving Cozy to her radiation treatment. She has others lined up from now on (2 more weeks), but I told her I’m still on “standby” if she needs me.
Other than Mark’s comment above, I have seen exactly zero about Pearl Harbor today. Nothing. It makes me sad.
The Christmas tree got set up today in the living room. Tomorrow and Saturday we’ll decorate it.
There’s a new resort/casino in town. It’s called the Durango and is situated on the far west side of the valley in the more “elite” and “rich” neighborhood of Summerlin. We went over there this afternoon to check it out and YUCK! It’s sterile, plastic and way overpriced. Even the craps table had a minimum of $25! It’s the first time I’ve seen a blackjack table minimum of $50! We were there for barely 15 minutes, long enough to check out a few restaurant menus ($16 for a cheeseburger, $30 for a cheese pizza) and wander the tables looking for an affordable game.
So we went over to our favorite Mexican restaurant and had an excellent meal (and ate too much). I ordered fajitas and there was enough on the skillet to feed me 3 times. And yes, I brought the rest home.
Tomorrow is my return visit to the Cardiologist to see what last week’s echo showed. Then it’s the Christmas Tea. And I am in no way ready to speak in public. Oh well, I guess I’ll just have to wing it.
We got up to around 70 today. It was a nice day.
Everyone have a blessed evening and I’ll catch you in the morning.

Happy Hanukkah Vagabonds
And remember Pearl Harbor.
Man it’s hot here, all of 3 above zero and partly cloudy. A slight decrease in clouds high 23.
We had our church Charge Conference last night, our District Superintendent was present by way of Zoom. No biggies just a nice a nice little meeting.
Have a wonerful day Vagabonds and may the Lord bless your day.
