A cloudy morning here in the NEK, temp was 27. They are saying it gets less cloudy as the day goes on to a generally sunny day, high (wait for it) 42.
Yesterday was a good stay at home day, outside of the usual travels that was it. (^.^)
I’ve been looking at pictures of old cars, in particular the Willys Overland Wagon and I’ve noticed how much my Jeep looks like a Willys Overland. The Jeep Commander came out in the early 2000s and it also carried the name Overland. When Jeep discontinued the Commander they tweaked the design and slapped the Liberty name on it, so, I guess I have an Overland.
I’ve changed my avatar to a 1960 Overland, I don’t know if you can see it but it gives my little possum a rest. (^.^).

The forecast was correct last night. It rained a lot overnight, but this morning it’s bright and sunny with a few high clouds. Even the Weather Channel thinks the rain is pretty much over for us. We’re looking at a high of 50 today and it’s 44 at the moment, though the “feels like” temperature is 38.
I managed to sleep until 8 this morning and only woke up then because Smokey got huffy about wanting outside. She started digging at the carpet right by the door and we had “words”.
I am feeling better this morning. I even felt enough better to go to church with Mike last night. Pastor Jerry taught from 2 Corinthians 5 and did a good job.
Another lazy Thursday in the offing. I will be surprised if I find an excuse to leave the house. At least I’m getting a lot done on my rug. It’s over halfway done now and I usually manage 2 rows a day. At this rate it will take about a month and a half to finish it. It’s actually starting to look like a lion’s face now that the nose and mouth are done.
