Ha! And the funniest part? It’s all true. The name of the planet was Maldek.

Figures that a multi-mythology canon would lead to this dispute.

“Stranger in a Strange Land” indicates that Martians destroyed the planet between Mars and Jupiter for “artistic” reasons. I prefer Odom’s explanation.

Interesting to see which students are rapt and which are bored.

The “Martians” of “5 Million Years to Earth” were irrationally against evolution and genetic variability and would eugenically purge their species of mutations in the millions. (Probably lead to their extinction eventually.) That they came to Earth and experimented on the Miocene apes to create several types before they did genetically engineer humanity. They also instilled in them their Martian need for destruction or subjugation of any mutation. (Where our inter racism comes from. Seems to have been most active in the Nordic-Aryan types.) The action of their surviving cyborg ship in 1967 was let loose to instill direct control by the aliens upon their engineered surrogates. Fortunately iron swung into the horned image hovering over London was discharged to the earth destroying it and its hypnotic power.

Captain Odom may not be the most engaging lecturer (witness: Thor), but he does spin a pretty tale, one that awakens and excites the old, jealous creator-gods….

Maybe it was the aliens that created Easter Island. They manufactured giant stone heads as gift shop items for tourists.

But the galactic economy collapsed and they just shut down the manufacturing plant and left, leaving all unsold products behind.

Actually, if you research Maldek on the internet, you will find 20 – 30 different stories of it’s demise. I don’t know which is true, but I believe that will become more clear in the near future. As for the ruins under the polar ice, you can look up David Wilcock and Corey Goode if you want to know more.

Does anyone else hear the Monty Python gang’s voices in the last panel?
