38 kids take up half the classroom. I don’t blame the teacher for celebrating.
At the age of 10 I sobbed to my 5th grade teacher, “I have to stay in school until I’m 18!” She sobbed back, “I have to stay in school until I’m 65!”
It’s been noted before, but sholy moly they had crowded classrooms back then!
Yeah, I always had between 30 and 35 in each class, but it didn’t really seem to be a problem back then. Student behavior was entirely different in those days.
