I have found that J.O. has a real gift of turning a simple comic into a deeper exploration. Not easy to do much less nearly every day. But that is just me. Gilchrist made Fritzi Ritz his own. Too many liked the slick art style and sexy Ritz. Not really Nancy once they moved away from the original Nancy. Go back and they start it by copying the artwork.
Not to everyone’s taste I understand that. But some take it too far with little to go on but their distaste. The art if it does change maybe some in 10 years or not.

I like the old Nancy comic strps too
