I think nuNancy has the edge in responsibility avoidance.
Aunt Fritzi is going to need that brush.
Oh Nancy, someone as clever and creative as you is capable of so much more than D’s. Aunt Fritzi, this is an opportunity to inspire a fertile mind.
Too bad the letters on my report card didn’t mean (f)abulous.
Is the implication here that Fritzi is going to beat Nancy with the hairbrush? There was an article recently about how child abuse reports spike after report cards come out, so, unfortunately, this strip isn’t as dated as we might hope.
I never got a single D in grade school.
Our system used numerals.
Fritzi sure leans a lot.
Resigning herself to her fate.
