    Dorm life in the 60’s rules were limited to coffee pot, iron, and popcorn popper. We got really creative with these. I used the bottom of the popper for a hot plate and my friends and I cooked some really good suppers. One made spaghetti in her coffee pot.

    Back in the 60s, my parents had a gadget that cooked up to six hot dogs at once by putting both ends on spikes and running house current straight through them. (Google “Presto Hot Dogger” if you don’t believe me.)

    I had a hot plate in college. Only problem was that it had only one setting-High !!!
