That’s what I said on my first date…. and the night before the wedding … and then, our vacation together right after that… after the work of getting ready, and then the “play” , then, there was some sleep……..

So -looks like Phil and Aunt Frizi ARE up in the mountains with the kids! Sampler on Phil’s wall says “Bless this Cabin.” Wonder if this means that Aunt Fritzi, Phil, Nancy and Sluggo are all up in the mountains together – maybe as part of a Summer Camp type of excursion – with counselors and such – giving Fritzi and Phil some opportunities to spend time together – while some of the other counselors keep an eye on Nancy and Sluggo. This story seems like it could be a whole, complete comic book. Really great stuff. Of course, in the olden days, Fritzi had her own farm, and slipped out to the farm for some rest and relaxation from time to time.

That Aunt Fritzi is quite a teaser!

Great character development. The only thing that would make this comic better is if Phil and Fritzi go on some type of quest to reach an objective together so they could get even closer along the way.

While this COULD be a “private cabin at the lake,” we need to remember that Phil DOES work for a Mission. Frequently – one of the activities which a mission has going is a way to provide a summer camping experience for youngsters. It is not beyond the realm of possibility that the Mission could have asked Phil to ramrod the Mission’s camping activities for the summer. So it is quite possible that, when Phil headed out to the mountains to ramrod the Mission’s summer camp, Sluggo, Nancy and Aunt Fritzi came along to help out.

IF we are headed for a wedding – I think that Aunt Fritzi should spend at least a couple of months, modeling wedding dresses, before she makes a choice. Then I would like to see her choose a wedding dress which would be an updated version of one of the many wedding dresses which she modeled back in the olden days – when Aunt Fritzi paper dolls were an important part of every Sunday paper in the country. Sort of the way that Kate Middleton chose a wedding dress which had been inspired by the wedding dress which was worn by Princess Grace when she married Prince Ranier back in 1956. I also liked the way that William and Kate “suggested” that all of their wedding guests come in formal attire – including having the women wear hats. There was a time when Aunt Fritzi’s hats were just as important as the rest of her outfit!
