I do seriously worry about this. There have always been plenty of people who can’t be bothered to really wrap their heads around stuff, but it’s only in the last twenty years that those same people have had instant access to the worst of humanity to fill in the blanks for them on demand.
Well, without using that rectangle thing, I can think of, how to churn butter? Where do you even get the pre butter ingredients to put in a butter churn? What does a butter churn look like and where can you get one? I phoned up Home Depot and they don’t carry butter churns. Come to think of it, how do you make Gouda cheese, if the cheese store is all out?
Just the other day I noticed that I always have to stop and think when I look at an analog clock. I’m so used to digital that telling time the old-fashioned way isn’t so easy any more.
Soon, AIs will “help” you make all your decisions. I refuse to let a mail program tell me how to “blow off” communications from my friends and associates.

Studies have shown that people tend to forget what they can look up, so this is spot on.
