Thanks for the memories, John! I had the “Man from U.N.C.L.E” pistol and the Johnny-7, too! Grew up to own no real guns – but have no problem with responsible folks who do.
I like that local gun club encourages family participation. I liked pistol practice with my BF (my dad often promised to take me to the police range; he was a realtor but had friends there) That never happened. My BF is a great guy an we shared gun range as well as opera and plays as well as great gourmet food.
